Many of our doctors have a special interest in women’s health, and some of them also hold Post-Graduate Diplomas in Women’s Health. All our doctors keep updated on the most current medical consensus in the issues encompassing women’s health and can provide a high level of care. Furthermore, we are well connected to numerous specialists and hospitals including King Edward Memorial Hospital. If a referral is required, you can be assured that you will be directed to the appropriate professional to suit your needs.
What Care Do You Offer?
If you are planning to have, or expecting a child, we offer a range of care including:
- Pre-pregnancy consultation
- Antenatal care and shared care
- Postnatal care
- Advice and care surrounding breast feeding and potential problems you may have regarding breastfeeding
- Family planning
If you require advice or help with contraceptives, we offer the following care:
- Contraceptives advice
- Insertion and removal of Implanon
- Insertion and removal of Mirena
If you need to have a Pap smear, we can also provide testing. The medical consensus is that Pap testing begin once you reach 21 years of age, and you should repeat your Pap smear once every three years between the ages of 21 to 65.
